China has expressed its commitment to enhancing security cooperation with African nations, aiming to bolster stable economic development, according to statements made by Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun. Speaking at the 4th China-Africa Peace and Security Forum in Beijing on Thursday, Dong emphasized the longstanding defense relationships China shares with African countries, rooted in mutual support and shared security interests.
The forum, which gathered military representatives and diplomats from the African Union along with 41 African countries, served as a platform to address and strengthen security cooperation amid shared regional challenges. Dong highlighted that the collaboration between China and Africa contributes significantly to both regional peace and global stability, urging for continued partnerships grounded in equality and mutual benefit.
